Key to the School’s vision of excellence is the appointment of an Professor or Associate Professor of Architecture who will have the capacity to undertake a senior leadership role. This position is focused towards the further development of an existing specialism in Sustainable Engineering Systems, as well as contributing to the leadership of the School. The successful applicant will have the technical expertise to develop the programme to support collaborative research and teaching in a range of School wide projects that include: sustainable building performance modeling and simulation; urban engineering systems and public ecologies; robotics and control systems for architecture and urbanism; prefabrication and parametric design; and disaster proofing the built environment.

PROFESSOR OF ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY (Wellington, NZ)
This is a senior research intensive position that will provide leadership in the PhD programme, develop the capacity of the school to secure externally funded research and contribute to the leadership of the school. The successful applicant will have a demonstrable international reputation for architectural research with an emphasis on technology that aligns with the school’s strategic research projects.
