ASSISTANT PROFESSOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE (Vancouver, CA)
The landscape architecture programme in the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (SALA) at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor effective July 1, 2017.

The successful candidate will demonstrate sustained inquiry about contemporary issues in the discipline and will pursue a related area of research, scholarship and/or creative practice, and teaching. A commitment to quality design teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and in-depth knowledge and skill in digital representation is essential. Teaching responsibilities will include design studios and courses in the professional, post-professional, and undergraduate SALA programmes, as well as supervision of graduate students. Previous teaching experience is required. Candidates must hold a master’s degree of landscape architecture. A PhD in landscape architecture or a closely related discipline is desirable.
