Ranked in the Top Ten for architecture (Guardian University Guide 2016), the Canterbury School of Architecture at UCA offers design orientated undergraduate and postgraduate courses in architecture, urbanism, interiors and design for theatre, film & performance. Our School has a distinctive approach to architectural education and research that is informed by its rich art school heritage and provides a uniquely intimate environment for architectural education in the highest ranked specialist creative arts university in the UK (The Complete University Guide 2016).

The School has ambitious plans to develop its portfolio and expand its research activities and is looking to appoint a lecturer, or senior lecturer to lead and delivering teaching & research in the history & theory subject area across our undergraduate and postgraduates courses in architecture & interiors at Canterbury.

You will be an experienced architectural educator with a track record of publications and projects. You should have a strong understanding of architectural education and have high aspirations for the development of the history & theory subject area within the school.
