PRINCIPAL LECTURER (Nottingham, UK)
Nottingham Trent University is looking for a principal lecturer in interior architecture and design to join the architecture department.
The department looks to promote innovation and a multi-disciplinary approach, working closely with industry, the professions and practice. The department currently offers a BA in interior architecture and design accredited by CSD and a postgraduate MA in interior architecture and design.
You will have proven professional design as well as academic experience, a well-developed knowledge of the construction industry and professions and an awareness of trends and market expectations in the sector.
Proven management and leadership skills are essential as you will play a key role in the development, teaching and management of academic staff and programmes within the discipline.
In particular you will provide academic leadership for the development and management of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within interior architecture and design, undertake subject area timetabling responsibilities and lead the development of third stream income generation.
You will also work with the head of architecture on a variety of other activities congruent within a principal lecturer role.
Excellent communication, IT, organisational and analytical skills are essential.
