We are seeking a highly talented project manager with an architectural background. The successful candidate must have outstanding organisational and strong interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be able to:-
– lead, manage, motivate, and co-ordinate the internal project team as required
– co-ordinate all activities relating to the project
– fulfil the practice’s overall objective in producing first class work on time and on budget
– lead, co-ordinate, and integrate the work of members of the team and associated professional and trades companies and persons
– provide a professional project and design management service internally and externally
– support the architects in successful project delivery
– seek, and record evidence of, continuing professional development (CPD) in accordance with the requirements of the APM or PMI

Qualities and skills required
– able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities
– legally able to work in the country in which the position is based
– computer literate, working knowledge of Asta Power Project is advantageous
– formal qualification in project management or architecture, engineering, surveying, building or equivalent experience
– proven skills in all aspects of negotiation and communication (whether graphical, written or verbal) including ability to listen and to understand others
– understanding of financial aspects of running a project on time and on budget
– ability to manage and motivate a team, to organise oneself and others
– ability and effectively manage large amounts of project related information and data
– a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to independent, life long learning
– excellent presentation skills
– resilient to coping with conflicting demands
– able to prioritise duties and work under pressure
– excellent written and verbal communication skills – articulate and diplomatic manner
– fluent in English language, both written and spoken
– able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
– self motivation and ability to take responsibility
– able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
