DESIGNER WORKPLACE CONSULTANT (Londres, UK)

We are currently seeking a talented designer workplace consultant with outstanding analytical, spatial planning, presentation and consultation skills. The successful candidate will be expected to confidently present at a senior level.

Responsibilities
– managing internal and external client relationships
– working effectively as part of an integrated project team of architects, designers, consultants, stakeholders and clients
– the analysis, preparation, and clear presentation of design briefs, spatial design studies and space usage analysis
– co-ordinating and undertaking end user consultation, strategic space planning studies and floor plate analysis exercises
– developing and advancing the workplace consultancy offer through proactively exploring and developing best practice
– thorough knowledge of and compliance with Foster +Partners procedures and standards

Qualities and skills required
– able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities
– legally able to work in the country in which the position is based
– previous experience in designing innovative workplace environments
– excellent research, data analysis and report writing capabilities
– understanding of all analytical processes relevant to workplace consultancy field
– able to fully understand client needs and how this effects the development of design solutions
– strong understanding of current best practice and trends in the design of workplace environments
– excellent presentation skills
– excellent design capabilities, creativity and attention to detail
– keen to learn from and be inspired by others and to contribute to the learning and development of others
– commitment to independent, life long learning
– excellent CAD and drafting skills
– proficient in Excel and working with numerical data
– able to be efficient in project delivery
– excellent written and verbal communication skills
– able to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently
– excellent organisational skills
