The Aarhus School of Architecture invites applications for an MSO professorship in the theory and history of architecture.
With this position the Aarhus School of Architecture wants to strengthen the field: theory and history of architecture in the School’s teaching and research. The Aarhus School of Architecture aims to contribute to spreading knowledge about the historical and conceptual background of architecture to peers as well as to a wider public.

When employed, the professor MSO will be given responsibility for developing architectural theory and history through dialogue with the academic staff of the Aarhus School of Architecture. The professor must strengthen the profile of the focus area through his or her own research or artistic development work, and help draw up research applications and build relevant professional networks. A further area of responsibility will be developing and contributing to teaching within the focus area at all levels from Bachelor’s degree programmes to Master’s degree programmes to supplementary and researcher training programmes.
