PROFESSOR OF ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY (Wellington, NZ)
This is a senior research intensive position that will provide leadership in the PhD programme, develop the capacity of the school to secure externally funded research and contribute to the leadership of the school. The successful applicant will have a demonstrable international reputation for architectural research with an emphasis on technology that aligns with the school’s strategic research projects. These include: sustainable building performance modelling and simulation; urban engineering systems and public ecologies; robotics and control systems for architecture and urbanism; prefabrication and parametric design; and disaster proofing the built environment.

The Professor in Architectural Technology will provide leadership in the School research programmes and contribute to leadership within the school and within the University community. They will undertake research activity at a level appropriate to the career stage of a Professor in Architecture. They will demonstrate a commitment to research informed teaching and learning at undergraduate and post graduate level, including supervision of masters and PhD thesis students. They will be committed to delivering excellence in relation to student experience and make a significant contribution in service to the university, external stakeholders and the wider community.
