PROFESSOR / ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF ARCHITECTURE (Wellington, NZ)
Key to the School’s vision of excellence is the appointment of an Professor or Associate Professor of Architecture who will have the capacity to undertake a senior leadership role. The position is to provide research and teaching expertise in architectural design, and contribute to the leadership of the School. The successful applicant will further develop the School’s agenda of design research within an interdisciplinary context. This will require excellent communication and management skills on top of an established research and teaching specialism in architectural design and/or substantial award winning practice experience.

The Associate Professor / Professor in Architecture will provide leadership in the discipline of architecture and contribute to leadership within the school and within the University community. They will undertake research activity at a level appropriate to the career stage of an Associate Professor / Professor in Architecture. They will demonstrate a commitment to research informed teaching and learning at undergraduate and post graduate level, including supervision of masters and PhD thesis students. They will be committed to delivering excellence in relation to student experience and make a significant contribution in service to the university, external stakeholders and the wider community.
